That may be the best thing Flight could ever do for you. :D :D

Hook has a point there. Vista was so messed up they gave up and went to Windows 7

From the beta site:

As far as I know there is no way for an update to undo itself, so my guess is the installation failed, or they are confusing the download of the update (the progress bar within the game) with the actual install process which happens separately after they quit Flight. From looking at the attached files the version of sqmapi.dll is wrong. Somehow they have a corrupt installation of Flight. They should probably completely uninstall it and reinstall. Another option would be to install it directly from Steam instead which should hopefully have less installation and update problems.

Sorry you had to do a complete install.

How about: an error event report on the event viewer? or on the "view all problem reports" (w/o quotations) applet?

Without any of them, Im afraid there is not much I can do.

i have no idea what an event viewer or "view all problem reports" (w/o quotations) applet? is?

@LHookins, yeap... thats my next move in this "old" Hp laptop  danm Vista hahaha.....All my other desktop Pc's have Win7 Pro 64bits..

@Kabronicus, you can use only a few extention files... ´pics like bmp's, jpg's and txt's... I think other formats are not allowed

Use FULL EDITOR to attach files

3 files were created in error report but only had enough room to attach the txt's ... the other file "WERA74A.tmp.mdmp" was not allowed as attachment

cheers

Yo can find Event Viewer by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer

Once it's open Expand Windows Logs -> Application and seek for any errors that might be related to Fligh or GFWL

View all problem reports - is an applet, you start it by going Start -> and type or paste "View all problem reports" (at the bottom)

Once it opens seek for Flight or GFWL problem reports.

In my case, the errors are only visible (as well as its location "C: \ Users \ User name \ AppData \ Local \ Temp") until I close the error window ... When I close the pop-up error, the files are deleted from the folder where they are.

But afterwards they should appear on the Event Viewer or the Problem Reports applet.

That is unless there was a more serious error and the application had no tome to log it.

Anyway: I posted both your remarks guys.

Hello, wanted to post an update to Kabronicus regarding my issue. Flight has loaded correctly on my computer after changing the fullscreen value to 0. Once the game was running I changed the in-game settings to Full Screen mode and now the game loads correctly every time.

Thanks for the advice, if I run into any issues I'll post them here.

JRHorse: Im glad your issue has been resolved.
