No Flight control page

Featured Replies

Hey all, I have a question. Below is attached a picture of what I THINK is a problem that I am having with the 737NGX. I can not get the flight control page to come up with the hydraulics. I have SP1c and acceleration So SP2.

I thought that the flight control page was suppose to be there when you hit the SYS button.

This is an optin in real life, which is also an option in the NGX. Just go to your FMC, look in the Equipment or Displays settings, it should be there somewhere. You can enable the flight controls and the brakes temperature status seperately.

You just need to enable it, it's not a bug or something ;)

By the way, you said the hydraulics' missing. I can see it clearly there on the top, it shows your HYD quanitity in % and the pressure as well.

Three greens!

I knew the hydraulics were there :P LOL......I just meant I could only see the hydraulics...

Thanks for the response.

Just curious though, if you didn't get the flight control page option in real life how would you be able to check the controls (besides the airlines and spoilers of course, windows for that)??

You are checking that the controls have full and free movement . this can be confirmed through the yolk and pedals. spoiler movement can be seen on the 600 and 700 by looking outside.

Check your options in the FMC. It's been disabled for this livery. As Paul mentioned, you're checking for freedom of movement, not necessarily the indications. Ideally, yes, you'd see them, but if you don't see them or have a gauge, then you just check freedom of movement.

PS:

Yoke - what you put your hands on.

Yolk - the yellow part of an egg.

Thank you Kyle!!

I could put the blame on the fact that I typed the message on my phone whilst at work, it was however poor concentration on my part! I do like a nice, bright yellow yoke.....

Haha. I see what you did there!

Yeah, the autocorrect pulls some stupid stuff sometimes, doesn't it?
