April 10, 200422 yr Before I installed the new Toronto area scenery, I looked at the default CYYZ on FS2004 and here is what I found. I didn't think CYYZ was on a plateau, but this picture tells all!!! Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how to fix this? Thanks!AirbusPicture removed. It far exceeded our size limitations. April 10, 200422 yr For some reason, the designer decided to put all Ontario airports on an plateau. You could probably fix it if you know how to do meshes.
April 10, 200422 yr Thanks for your help! I do not know how to do mesh scenery fixes. Is this a common problem with all of default Ontario airports in FS2004 or is it just my problem? Here it is again for those that missed it before. April 10, 200422 yr You could try the flatten utility included in fsutilities.zip from www.fs-traveler.com.Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
April 11, 200422 yr Lol, that's funny :)I think it might just be your problem as CYYZ is placed properly in FS2004 for me.
April 11, 200422 yr Yep, looks like Airbus has installed some monkey mesh there. Flying autogen too ... hey, don't tell everyone, they'll all want some.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM

Mine is raised a little, not on a mountain top. I'm actually using the old FS2002 mesh for the United States and Southern Canada that is available on Simviation. I think it is a far superior mesh.

April 13, 200422 yr Commercial Member Howdy,If you slew down to the bottom "level", are you at sea level? If so, it's most likely a faulty add-on mesh. Are you using any one of Rob Gainer's add-on mesh files, particularly any of these ones?Alaska ( all versions )Seaor.zipNYC CityThey have those problems and, according to Rob, you're supposed to delete them. If not, how about any other add-on mesh files? Cheers, Holger
