SP1 Button control problems

Featured Replies

Hello FS2Crew-Team!

I used the 737NGX button control 1.0 without any issues not listed in the SP1 documentation for 10+ flights.

After downloading (04.04.2012, 14 UTC) and installing the new FS2Crew version some problems occured. I uninstalled and reinstalled both FS2Crew and the PMDG NGX (SP1C) but the issues are still there.

I´ve read the manual and the "ReadMe First.pdf"!

- FO sets the parking brake - in 1.0 and according to the manual the PF should set the parking brake

- FO sets the PF flight director - in 1.0 and according to the manual the PF should set the FD.

- FO doesnt set the cruising level in pressurisation panel - the FMC is set up 100% and he did in 1.0

- During Preflight checklist the parking brake is set the FO tells me to "double check"

- FO reads the fuel in pounds, the aircraft unit is set to kgs.

- When telling the FO to start "engine 2" he tells me that the aircraft is not configured.

Maybe you got any advise?

Hello Bryan,

Thank you, it works now! As is reinstalled SP1C and FS2Crew 2 times before i don´t know why it didnt work the 1st time.

The only difference is that this time i did not copy the old .ini-file into the "aircraft"-directory, but created a new one. Maybe this could be the cause for the problems!?

Hello,

I found the same problem and searching in the forums tried to do what is said about reinstalling SP1c and FS2C after it but the FO keeps on activating parking brake when going to walk around check.

I had no problems before service pack 1

Please check it as I can not find what I am doing wrong

I have more problems with memory that I did not have before too. Strange.

Thanks

Hi again, maybe FO is prepared for doing what it should be done in previous step? I mean, FD or parking brake for example should have been activated before he does according to Pilot Flows.

Thanks again

That's deliberate... the FO sets the parking brake prior to going out on his walk around so he can check the brake wear pins.

Cheers,

But the FO is not setting cursing altitude in overhead panel... and he activates FD instead of me. Maybe I'm doing it late but the altitude problem is there as I am not asked to do it during flows.

Hi Ingo,

For the FO to set the Cruise/Landing in the overhead pressurization panel on the overhead, your FMC must be totally filled out and completed before the FO starts his main setup flow (the long one) during pre-flight.

So pls ensure you setup the FMC right away because FS2Crew takes data from it.

For the FDs, I'll ask Damien.

I may have coded it as a backup in case the user forgets to turn on their own FD.

Cheers,

Thanks a lot Bryan. I will try it again and will check altitude.
