Hi Simicro,I plan to create hand drawn graphics again for all parts of the Spitfire, but will put as much work into making them as photo-realistic as possible. The advantage with hand drawn graphics is it's the only way to get exactly what you want.Additionally, the Spitfire will bypass gmax altogether, and be made completely in 3DS Max (gmax' big brother). This will have several advantages when it comes to texture creation so I'm looking forward to working on this one!Cheers,Sean.

Hi Shane,Apologies for not replying to your email sooner, but with Easter and the Scout release I've been very busy this last week.Regarding the Spinner issue, there's not a lot I can add to Rob and Larry's comments, but I promise our next release will have a prop-shaft!Cheers,Sean.

It continues to move with the rudder after it has been retracted. Is there any way I fix this with a change in the aircraft config. or something like that??Thx!!:)

Hi Shane,It can be fixed, but it has to be done in gmax and a new mdl file compiled...Cheers,Sean.

Hi Jon,I take the crash reports as good news, indicating that the Scout is, like all tail draggers should be, somewhat unforgiving if the landing is a bit wayward, especially with a cross wind.Just in case you haven't set this, you may get much smoother performance by going to the FS9 display/aircraft menu and switching gauge quality to "low". With this setting the 3d gauges will still be quite clear and certainly on my system I get much smoother motion. We mentioned this in the guide. Also try cutting down the clouds, and other display sliders. We reckon most modest systems should achieve between 28 and 35 frames per second. With the above settings I'm getting a steady 28 even on my laptop.Kind Regards,Rob Young = RealAir Simulations

With the above settings I'm getting a>steady 28 even on my laptop. My system is a 2ghz AMD with 512meg and a GeForce FX 5200 Ultra graphics card at AGP 8x. While not a high end system I would concider it at least mid range. That said, I wish I saw 28 to 35 frames per second! My old system was a 1.8ghz with the same memory and graphics card but running at AGP 4x and I got 25 to 30 fps with that setup. I just guess my new motherboard was a poor choice.Anyway...I did turn the gauge quality down per the guide and I find that the flight is much better with a lot less studdering. When I flew real planes I use to love doing short field landings to grass strips. The Scout brings back that short field approach feeling better than any other add on so far.Great job! Thanks,Jon

HI Jon,That's my favourite kind of approach, full flap, nice and steep, perhaps even a bit of side slip and smartly back for a quick three pointer. Nice thing is, it can always be better so I never tire of practicing it!All the Best,Rob Young
