Featured Replies

Hi everyone , i have bin searching all over the web in how to make a nice runway landing video. I have try downloading EZdok World Camera but it seems hard to understand it doesn't come with a manual an the help support is kind of wierd . Because sometimes it works an sometime it don't . So far i have downloading Orbx BOB i have seen some people on youtube make great landing videos using BOB . But i don't understand how do they do it . Because BOB is an aircraft so when the hit replay how do they select BOB as an aircraft to get those great runway views landing ?

Have you tried FS-Recorder www.fs-recorder.net?

With this freeware tool you can record a landing and switch to an other plane or ORBX's BOB (btw thanks for that idea) and film the replay from that aircraft's point of view.

That's the only thing that comes to my mind, but I hope it helps, though.

You can also watch it from the fsx runway view. But fs recorder vids are only playable in fsx. You can't watch them unless your in fsx.

Fraps is an excellent product for this type of project. We've used it many times in our own work.

I imagine they are doing something like first recording the flight in fs-recorder, then playing it back as AI while using Bob to create the view for the video capture. I think maybe a problem is playing back as AI won't show all the animations, especially the more complex ones. Fs-recoder has the ability to create some different views that can be used for video capture. Might want to experiment with those as well.
