Joshua, does that mean the server(s) will be down until you upgrade? How long will that be? I ask because as of right now, Monday 11:30am eastern - 1530z, I'm unable to download any weather whatsoever.

Hi Chuck. We don't anticipate many downtime. If you do experience any types of interruption, please let me know so I can have it fixed asap. With an increase in data download comes the need for better servers to handle the request. It's part of growing pains.

hello, I still have issues with servers...but not always. The initial weather download go fine, but when the weather upgrade, during the flight, it seems that it can't connect with the servers, so the offline weather depiction is used.

Perhaps that is what is going on - see my other thread. I can download historical weather for close to the current time and this gets loaded into the weather report and depicted in FSX but it doesn't update.

How do you know (do you get a message e.g.) when this is happening?
