April 12, 201214 yr I might have found a bug, or maybe its something im doing wrong... When I in my departure brief choose engine bleeds off during take off the FO correctly turns of the bleeds before take off... But he never turns them back on... he says during the after takeoff checklist that the bleeds are on... but they arent... This has left me gasping for air more than once;-) Is this something I am doing wrong or maybe a small bug?... Its no trouble turning on the bleeds myself but when he says "Engine bleeds on" then jyou just trust him;-) /Niklas Niklas Eriksson
April 12, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Nicklas, Make sure you announce "Climb Thrust" at the thrust reduction altitude. That's the trigger to restore the bleeds. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

April 12, 201214 yr I have a slightly different problem, after landing, when the apu is available I instruct the FO to turn on the apu bleed air, which he does. I then instruct him to turn the engine bleeds off, this he never does. Is there another command that I need to make to get him to turn off the engines bleeds? I know he 'hears' me because the green bar with my command comes on the screen Lethukuthula Vilakazi FACT & FAPM Proud Owner: PMDG NGX, PMDG 747-400x

Butm the command should work though,..can you try it while airbourne and see if it works then ? I'll try to reproduce as well. Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21
