Question to nvidia users.

Hello,

I wonder if you can help me. Ever since I had my computer I've had the problem of screen 'shimmering'. It's very hard to explain what happens. It's not the cockpit screens, but the actual screen itself. When I pan around I get what seems to be shimmering, like lines going across the screen, transparent lines. It's very difficult to explain.

Have you experienced it and if so do you know how to fix it?

TIA,

Dan

I can't help you except to say that those who can will probably want to know details of your computer - CPU, graphics card, hard drive, etc.

Okay so just messing around with settings in nvidia inspector I found when Antialiasing - gamma correction is disabled and Vsync is set to force on the problem I descrive goes away.

However when I alt-tab to test that I don't get the blackscreen it's fine for a few goes and then I either get a black screen or the screen goes a strange white colour like the graphics are having problems.

Seems as I fix one thing anothe problem occurs :(

Here's an example of the graphics going weird: 7272012_4_12_22_45_31_830.jpeg

I suspect your GPU's going bad - I've never seen that in my life and I've owned a lot of Nvidia cards...

Use Alt-Enter instead.

Use Alt-Enter instead.

Sorry that was a mistake, it's meant to say alt+enter.
