April 13, 201214 yr My first guess would also be the modified panel as a reason. You wouldn't think, but if there are mismatches, functions in the background may not work properly. I'm not sure how this would manifest in its effects on the TCAS, but it's clearly a modified panel, so my assertion remains. I remember reading something about registrations causing issues if edited. This is incorrect- That plaque is able to be altered in VC only by means of a DDS while the tail number still remains in 2D and does not modify the panel in any way. This is not the issue and Jeff would not have done that if it was going to cause problems. Thanks!Nick CrateChief Executive OfficerFedEx Virtual Air Cargo
April 13, 201214 yr My friends, i use FS2crew, the FO handles de TCAS and i never had a problem with the TCAS or the whole NGX before Still strange, i use fs2crew also. Does it happen when you, just as a test, do not start fs2crew? Fred Koch system: r3700x , R9 Fury, Kingston A2000 M2 1Tb system drive and 512GB Samsung EVO 850 app drive. April 13, 201214 yr Looks like a TCAS system test display to me -- although I have not seen this particular display documented elsewhere. (Most likely missed it !) If it were not a TCAS "Systems Test display" , but instead a TCAS COMMAND display during a flight , what would it be telling you ?
April 14, 201214 yr Commercial Member You've got a corrupted install somewhere most likely. I'd reinstall the airplane clean (uninstall and then manually clean out any remaining NGX files in the PMDG or SimObjects/Airplanes folders). April 14, 201214 yr If you edited the panel.cfg, there is a section named "logic" or something. It's a special PMDG panel that contains the logic for TCAS and other system. Chances are that got deleted somehow. You need to get it back from an original panel.cfg Mathieu Souphy
