Get the error for about half of the FSC created flight plans but have not seen any patterns.

Thoughts?

Cheers

Are you running FSX or FS9. RC and I think FSX can read both the FSX xml format and the FS9 format. If you want to try a different format all you need is to set up if not existing two folders under your My Documents folder. FS9 uses Flight Simulator Files and FSX uses Flight Simulator X Files.

For RC you can browse to either folder for loading the .pln.

I think it is, but not sure, that any add-on airports to be recognized must be in under the Add-On Scenery folder of FS for FSC to pull in the data. RC uses any folder pointed to in scenery.cfg maintained by FS scenery settings to get its airport coordinates from during a scenery rebuild. If so, you may get into yet another difficulty of non-synchronized data in airport coordinates between FSC and RC.

If you can pin down a specific .pln file you can paste it in a reply here for examination using word or wordpad to open it.

To get a direct examination of the problem when you start RC click Debug and then load the .pln file that gives you an error for a .pln load. You can then close RC and in the rcv4 or rcv4x folder you'll find an rcv4.log file. Zip it up and send it in. See the pinned topic and sending in log files.

I assume you are using RC4 build 3845 the latest that accommodates FS9 and FSX format .pln files.

Hello

Where do you have FScommander installed ?

You apparently have two versions of FS installed. Insure you are using the correct version of RC (rcv4x) and when rebuilding scenery you point to the correct FSX or FS9 path for each version of RC installed. Make sure each RC shortcut you create has the version name in the label so there is no confusion which folder you are calling up for the scenery rebuild and for your flight.

Make installed is the version of makerwys.exe here:

http://forum.simflig...ional-programs/

I loaded your .pln into RC and had the same error. I have one change to make later today for a couple of tests. In my .pln files the last waypoint is the destination airport and I'll try adding that manually to see if that is the hangup.

I used fsbuild for your .pln but it has a different waypoint location for KK. It appears that is an NDB located on the airfield from your .pln file. It is a good general idea to exclude that anyway from the .pln sent to RC.

I can't check until later tonight.

Perhaps another FSC user can check your .pln file out.

I notice your .pln file is FS9 format and I assume that is what for this problem you are using.
