A plea to developers .....stop the right click/ left click insanity

Featured Replies

Really? I'll let you think about that one for a few minutes.

"How on earth can I do that? seeing as I have already used up my "left click" to pull and close the knob."

Same answer.

Well maybe you have a specially adapted keyboard or mouse. I have a normal keyboard and mouse and none of the keys or wheels can be "pulled!"

Seeing as I have spend many many hours, weeks, months on developing my cockpit (also available on avsim http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=new+vc10+panel&CatID=root&Go=Search ) I know what I am talking about!

I suggest that you study what can and can't be done in C+ and XML before making statements like that

Mouse hover > mouse wheel.

Click and drag.

Mouse hover > mouse wheel.

Mouse hover > mouse wheel.

Click and drag.

Neither of those replicate pressing a button! Whereas "right click hold release " does.

Have you not noticed that other developers have not queued up on this topic pleading forgiveness, apologising, and promising never to do it again!

both you and the OP are flogging a dead horse on this subject.

I don't understand your response.

I do!
