May 2, 201214 yr i can't see any reason why the triple 7 experience will be different. I hope the 777 experience will not be different from the NGX experience in terms of realism and systems simulation depth, but even better (if that's possible at all). Dave P. Woycek
May 2, 201214 yr I have read this thread with interest. The OP obviously came from a certain position and you have been given an amazing amount of advice. As the VATUK Membership Manager I often come across emails from new members of VATSIM that say something like "I have joined VATSIM, but I haven't clue what to do next" Fortunately all of us started from perhaps that same position, many of us then reading and finding out exactly what we needed to do to get to a position whereby we could use all functions with a modicum of ease. The problem with moving from default aircraft to the "super sims" is that the learning curve is steep. Having flown PMDG, LvlD and some other super sims I came to the NGX knowing how to use the FMC/CDU already but I still needed and wanted to go through the first tutorial. I am glad that I did as I learnt an awful lot about the aircraft. Just flight http://www.justflight.com/ have a range of aircraft that actually might suit your needs they have the F-lite designation meaning that they are perhap two steps up from default but two steps down from PMDG/iFly/lvld super sims. They also do not cost anywhere as much. I believe there is a free 757 available at the moment from them which is a good entry to the f-lite series of aircraft. Here it is http://www.justfligh...tliner-freemium Wycliffe legal disclaimer I have no affiliation with Just flight I am not promoting their products for gain and I only offer their website address as a form of advice it is up to you whether you take that advice.
