I do like the torque of an electric engine but I also have more fun driving a manual transmission. I just like shifting through the gears.

 

If they made a car with a compact turbine and electric drive with a lot of torque most likely it would be a single speed or a three speed automatic. Electronic shifting instead of manual.

In another couple decades, the technology will hopefully be good enough to make electric aircraft viable for distance transportation. There are several general aviation electric aircraft under development and/or available, but this is the first transport-sized one I've heard about. Thanks for the video.
