An option for ''Dirty Wings''

Just a thought aloud. It would be a nice touch if you had the option for a clean and dirty cockpit.

Judging by the current photos the VC is not new and not to used which is perfect in my eyes. They've nailed the textures in the VC that's for sure!

Smudged finger prints just how RSR likes it.

Ha yeah I love that, glad they put it on these screens. And the dust effect!

I got a Delta paint for the 737 and its chipped rather than dirty and that looks great.

Couldn't it be an option in the FMC page if there is the same customization option as the NGX?

Not possible for a piece of the model as big/complex as the wings. This type of option would have to be a texture thing only - the paintkit should allow you to turn the dirt/grease layer off.

There goes one more legend....

What ever do you mean? ;) I take it back though, the last couple of Air France planes I've been in. Were actually pretty clean on the outside. I guess the Eurowhite + tonnes of exhaust in CDG is a dangerous mix.

Now if only that could be extended to the VC (Clean/Dirty) even if it means having to restart FSX

The Flight Deck is already I'd say "Worn". Doesn't look clean or dirty, it's perfect in my eyes :)

What about dirty toilets? Surely there are skid marks or urine on the seats on a long haul flight such as those undertaken on the LR. The lack of such an option severely decreases the realism factor when I walk around the cabin.

I think they will have the same sort of cabin interior as the NGX.
