May 7, 201214 yr Hi all. All weekend I can't seem to get past the long flow before the preflight checklist. The fault modules are either an API.DLL or an MSCVS8.dll Each time the crash happens during the FO setting the LDG ALT on the pressurization panel. I noticed that while part way throught the setting, the FO starts flicking other switches while the LDG ALT dial is still turning. That's when I get a Windows has stopped working crash. All has been perfect until this weekend. I only managed to get one flight done but even that one crashed during shutdown flow. Any ideas? May 7, 201214 yr Not sure if this helps, but a colleague of mine installed a new mobo and CPU last week, then reinstalled only FSX+ACC and now gets those two exact faulting module errors, has not found a cause or fix yet either, and that was on a vanilla install, hope its not something to do with recent windows updates
