FS2Crew (NGX/Voice) on Remote Computer Possible?

Featured Replies

Guys, does anyone have FS2Crew NGX and FSINN on a remote computer? I currently have AES2012 and FSINN on a remote but I need my mic on my Server computer for FS2Crew, but I'd like to get her over to the Remote computer, is this possible, has anymore done this yet?

Hi Ron,

FS2Crew consists of Gauges which are embedded directly into the host aircraft.

So you can't move it over.

Only possible issue you have is the Microphone needs to be plugged into your FSX computer.

So if you move FSINN to another computer, you'll need to somehow split your microphone so it can connect to both computers.

If you want to use 'button control', however, this is not a problem.

Best,

Hei Ron,

look at this post. That could be a possible solution for you.

In case you have an analog headset, you might consider bying an adapter like that

That's how I do it. I have Squawkbox on a remote computer. My headset mic is connected to both. The ptt buttons are configured such that whenever I press ptt for squawbox, fs2crew gets muted.

Hope that helps.
