June 2, 201214 yr ... for simple people! I mean me, as I would never consider the distinguished people on this forum to be simple. But, I enjoy the simple pleasures, and one of them has always been flying under things. And through them. And between them. So, the Aerocache was very tempting. Fly under that structure, pick up the Aerocache on the way, and have lots of fun! Got it, right? Wrong! I crashed! :LMAO: No problem, went up and tried again. And crashed again. So, I tried another time, and another time, and another... Crashed and crashed and crashed. What happened? Did I lose my touch? So, I tried flying under the structure from the other side. It seems this is not possible; there is an obstruction, a crash box for the whole structure including the empty spaces. No fair! No fun! I got the Aerocache anyway (by flying above the structure), but one of the first items on my list of things to fix is objects that cannot be flown though, under, between... :LMAO: Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
June 3, 201214 yr Hi, I acquired it flying, but then decided to land and check things out. You can't walk under it either. There's a ramp in the area that extends down to the ground but I couldn't walk up that either. Jim F.
June 3, 201214 yr I agree -- Flying under stuff is one of the greatest parts of MS Flight! Bridges & awnings at Hilo, hangar at Wheeler, hangars at Honolulu... endless fun. There's no place like this place, so this must be the place.
June 3, 201214 yr Yep, I'm an Aerocacher too Luis :-) 80 only, but growing :-) Today I was also lucky enough to receive a Saitek x52 Pro from a friend I had given my x52 4 years ago. In between he bought this x52 Pro and now owns a x65, so, instead of the old x52 I got the Pro version :-) Already adapting FLIGHT for it + the Cyborg ... The Cyborg will be useful for the Prop and Mixture axis at least What a GREAT day!
