How can I adjust zoom using controller?

Featured Replies

I know how to zoom-in and zoom-out using the + & - keys, or the mouse wheel.

What I want is to assign a function on my Saitek yoke to do the same thing.

Maybe I'm just blind but I can't find the 'zoom' function anywhere in the controller settings.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

Use the "mouse-view direction on" in controls-button/keys , assign a button on the Saitek & keybord, zoom in & out with the mouse wheel & pan with the mouse.

Kind regards
R.G

I don't believe there is any 'zoom' function assignable in the options / controls / assignments applet. I was messing around with this a week or two ago and had no luck. Correct me if I'm wrong....

Are you familiar with AutoHotkey?

It's a scripting language. You can write a small script that can read joystick (axis-) input and send + and - keys to the FSX application. I did that some time ago.
