June 8, 201213 yr Commercial Member I've tried all sorts but no luck. Java is working, but cannot download. here's the link: http://www.earthsimu...tonys_page.html can anyone download from this site? Clive Clive Joy
June 8, 201213 yr Doesn't work for me as well. Do you use IE, like me? If so, you could try another browser. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
June 8, 201213 yr you need to use the ES installer available at the site. If I am not mistaken you now need an account to log into. In order to download the installer. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
June 8, 201213 yr Or look up their names in the Avsim library. Please note the following:Many of the listings on this page use scenery files from Runway12 and VFR Scenery, both of which are free for non-commercial use. They can also be downloaded from avsim.com and flightsim.com Please refer to the supplied readme's for details But the download on the site works for me. Using FF. Gives me some exe files.
June 8, 201213 yr Author Commercial Member aarh.......many thanks Arnie.. Strange that you have to use their install to download free scenery.....not to worry......now know the fix Coolip, i read that as to the runway 12 obj lib...gets even better..thanks Clive Joy
June 8, 201213 yr The free scenery is supposed to be for existing customers, rather than the public at large. That is the impression I have anyway. But could be wrong. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
June 8, 201213 yr Could be true, Arnie. Well, I'm running some payware titles from them, so I feel ok. But you could also look at it like an appetizer, allowing some folks to receive nice airfields around the UK area (close to the ES stuff) and then asking for some more, which then leads to the payware. Would be a widely used concept. Seen at e.g. Orbx. If it was really meant to be a closed released, we would see it being in a protected forum section or so. Well, means I guess. Also keep in mind, that they've also posted the downloads at Avsim, so it may not be intended to stay private. More as 'spread the word'.
June 8, 201213 yr Author Commercial Member I get a lot of my scenery from the links here: http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html Clive Joy
