June 10, 201213 yr I would pass on this and get the Flight 1 mustang instead! http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=f1mustang DIMITRI
June 10, 201213 yr The Flight 1 Mustang is about 20 bucks more though. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 10, 201213 yr Have you tried it? I ask because I am pretty close to getting the Phenom. No doubt the Mustang is a nice plane at $20 more the cost. The Phenom in the reviews I've read is very frame rate friendly and a great hand flier. For someone like me who wants a nice cockpit and great hand flying feel, it seems like a good plane. Also, I've been very happy with feelThere's E145. I think if you want to focus on the G1000 system and system depth then, yes, save up for the F1 Mustang. feelThere's Phenom isn't focused there. I don't want to use a computer to program a virtual computer to fly a virtual plane though! ;)
June 10, 201213 yr I have not tried the phenom, but I do have the Flight 1 offering. Offers a high fidelity rendition of the G1000!!! However, as Al has rightly stated, it is more expensive and slightly heavier on fps,but I love it!! DIMITRI
June 10, 201213 yr Mind you, when I paid more than that for the extremely light AeroSim 787, then getting advice from me on what is pricey where FSX add-ons are concerned would be like asking Kim Jong-il for advice on modesty. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

June 10, 201213 yr Oh it's a good add-on for sure, just not what you'd call inexpensive. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 10, 201213 yr I have the Phenom, bought it as soon as it came out, and then parked it. Its a nice plane but unfortunatly they made the fonts so small on the display thats its impossible to read. Maybe they fixed it by now but I havnt flown it since. Jay
June 10, 201213 yr http://www.feelthere...?product_id=424 Its an ok plane, the vc reflections iIdidn't care for and its what they call 'LE' so if you are the kind of simmer that likes to do complete start ups then this isn't for you but i you just want to go out for a flight and enjoy yourself than its not that bad. I parked mine though after about two weeks didn't get much enjoyment after that. I would save up or Go ahead and get the mustang its a joy to fly around and 3 months later and Im still flying it Jordan Ridener
June 10, 201213 yr I agree about the fonts and reflections. I really don't fly it anymore. You would think with all the complaints..oops I mean feedback that they would offer a few fixes. Until then, it's the L-39 (Nice Nice Aircraft) Bob Officially retired
June 10, 201213 yr There is a fix for the reflections. I can't tell anything from the fonts in the screenshots but thanks for the good feedback as someone who like the OP is thinking about this plane. Bizjet selection is tight and I have enough planes for system depth -- I just would like a well-flying good-looking plane for this myself and smooth framerate is of paramount importance.
June 10, 201213 yr After trying almost every bizjet available, I always end up in either the Eaglesoft CJ or X, depending on how fast I need to go that flight :-) Jay
June 10, 201213 yr Apart from their somewhat limited range, I personally like the Xtreme Prototypes LearJet 23s, but their old-school avionics won't float everyone's boat I know. I think it's a shame that we will now probably never see the Supronov Yak-40 in FSX, following the death of the main guy behind that. That was easily my favourite small jet you could get for FS9, especially since you could land it on grass, even if it was a bit of an FPS hog. Generally speaking, BizJets and VLJs are not really my thing though, being a bit too limited on either range or capacity for the kind of thing I like to do with jets in FS.
