June 15, 201213 yr Hey Chaps, Would there be a way for the FS2Crew and the NGX SDK to tie with passenger loads inserted by the FMC load manager? Eg, 180 pax should take a lot longer to laod than say 4 pax and zero pax there should be no boarding at all No idea if it is possible, but would be awesome Thanks Andrew Greentree
June 15, 201213 yr If you buy GSX it has a timer that loads pax, cargo and fuel based on actual aircraft loads. You can also modify these times to better suit your personal tastes. One nice little trick that I picked up from a another pilots youtube video is to use the pilot FMS to program the aircraft and the co-pilot FMS to run all of the PMDG commands like the doors, saves a lot of back and forth with the menu's when opening and closing doors for GSX. If you also have EZDok then just a one click button to bring up the view. Mark CYYZ
June 15, 201213 yr Author I had the demo of GSX, didnt really like it. I didnt know it would base stuff like that on Payload though If it comes up on special I may consider it :)
June 15, 201213 yr Quick question. I use GSX for pax loading on the NGX but I am getting overrun from the NGX boarding sounds. Is there any way to disable the NGX boarding sounds? Eric Grindstaff - MacAir COO Millennium Aviation Company - Macairvirtual.com - The VA with a choice!
June 15, 201213 yr I have no idea about the sounds, you need to post on the GSX board. I know what you mean though that the sounds are a bit annoying and repetitive. Mark CYYZ
June 15, 201213 yr I think you may have misunderstood. I want to disable the FS2 boarding sounds, not GSX. In order to activate GSX ground services and baggage loading vehicles I have to use GSX pax boarding. So I want to disable the FS2 NGX pax boarding sounds. Just go to Z:\Flight Simulator X\fsdreamteam\couatl\gsx\sounds and rename the boarding sound waves to * .BAK. Especially that annoying "Hello" wave file which sounds like running your fingers down a blackboard.
