June 15, 201214 yr This was a tough nut for me to crack, took a long time to find. Even longer to nail it. Screen shot is after landing on the way out of the valley. I should have named this "into the valley of death" flew the ICON.
June 15, 201214 yr Congratulations! I had a great time to when I found it a few weeks ago. Aerocaching is probably my main source of joy with MS FLIGHT :-) Learning to fly gliders since 1980Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)
June 15, 201214 yr Author Well then, if there are a total of 147 Aerocaches and I now have 131 I guess I need to keep looking. I know I missed some when I was in New York a couple of weeks ago.
June 15, 201214 yr Yeah, I had trouble finding it as well. While accurate (of course), the picture was deceptive in a way which led me to look in all the wrong places first. Fortunately, I was in the RV-6, so had enough power to keep me from crashing whilst searching. In the end, persistence paid off! I've found less than 100 of the caches so far, but don't look forward to the day when I get a repeat...
June 15, 201214 yr I found it easy enough, but it did take a few passes before I was able to get in a position where I could get in low enough and then get out once I got it.
June 15, 201214 yr I was flying around in circles for a good ten minutes before realizing I needed to be closer to the deck. Seeing your icon in the coast guard scheme makes me wish Flight would have more rescue missions available posted in the job board
