Can you darken aircraft shadow settings?

Not sure if it is possible but is there anyway to darken aircraft shadows. The darkness seems too lite.... :Nerd:

There's a program called "Shade" that does this. It's about £10 if I remember right...

Unless I'm mistaken, Shade only alters terrain rendering shadows.

As to the OP's question, I am not sure if there is any way to change the darkness of AC shadows (either the self-shadows or the AC shadows on the ground)

Shade does not do anything to the AC shadowing. It's based on the visibility inside FSX. The lower the vis, the lighter the shadow.

Go into the weather configuration area inside FSX and set VISIBILITY to unlimited... you will notice the darkest shadows possible. Set it to 10mi and the shadows will change accordingly.
