Nice presentation, Luis. You know, even crowded Alaska ain't half-bad. I vacationed in Anchorage a few times and hung out around Lake Hood to watch the floatplane activity. When I came upon an Aeronca Champ parked next to a 7-11 store, I knew I wasn't in the Lower 48 anymore!

I flew out of Lake Hood 1/2 a dozen times and also out of Merrill Field. Lots of places to fly to within and hour or two. Beautiful and unusual scenery. I flew over a glacier twice, and that is an experience you will also remember.

I do plan on checking out the Barrow AK airport during winter and summer.
