That's funny, it had an auto throttle on the flight I just took on the E-170, in fact it handled FLCH, VNAV with speed intervene, Speed modes. Works pretty well!! Hmm that's probably because you're flying the E-170, not the ERJ package ;) To be clear the ERJ package is ERJ-135, 145, etc. Whereas EMB-170 is commonly referred to as the EJets.
June 30, 201213 yr I really think their marketing people screwed up in calling it the EJet, especially if they were after sales from Aer Lingus, 'eejit' has a completely different meaning in Ireland. June 30, 201213 yr Anyone know of any good liveries for the Lineage-1000???? Color me interested in that too, I flew the old ERJ back in FS9 days and would love to pick this up as a longer range biz jet. I enjoyed the X back in FS9 days but the cockpit just looks way too outdated for me. So this sounds like a natural step in my planned step by step plan to work myself up to larger aircraft.
