colorblind

Ok, so i was reading the clandestine missions are at the 'magenta' airports? They all look blue to me. lol

=(

Shame they arent in a better shade of color.

These are the same colors that are used on real charts (Blue and Magenta) sorry to hear that!! I didn't know that there was a form of color blindness for these colors.

Check for fields without a control tower (review the radio frequencies), those are the magenta fields.

Are you serious?

They are a very distinctly different color of magenta, versus the blue.

You might try zooming in a notch or two, mine even zoomed all the way out are very different colors.

But officer, that red light looked green to me. ^_^

Im the real mccoy when it comes to color blindnesss. im told its as bad as it gets. my brother has it too.

i have to look at stop lights and look at the placement of color, check what other cars are doing, because the red does look like the green.

this is also why i cant have a commercial pilots license in the usa. lol.

but you can in australia. =D

when getting my license and they check my eyes with a test i always hear 'wow... you really ARE color blind arent you. lol.. never see anyone this bad usually'

yea. i had to actually ask my grandmother who was near by what airports were blue and what ones were magenta to find me a clandestine mission. they really look the same for me.

Unfortunately, the only indicator other than color is the presence of a Control Tower radio frequency, as noted.

If you want to use real-world charts, the "CT" frequency is printed right next to the airport symbol, which may make them easier to identify.

Vfrmaps.com is a good place to look at them for free.

i just got gmap and got the nav data package. maybe that will help.

having to look at everyone of them individually vs glancing at a screen though... lol.
