July 9, 201213 yr How exactly does this radar work with the aircraft? Say I wanted to use it with AirbusX, does the radar automatically appear on the panel? or does it stay in a separate window? Jerad Burns
July 9, 201213 yr I don't have the product, but I'm pretty sure you have to manually install it into most planes. Some payware planes actually have directions for installing RXP gauges.
July 9, 201213 yr FS Panel editor or similar..Make a backup! Most new Carenado planes come with a program to install automatically..Be careful though as some more complex pay-ware AC will groan if you mess with their panels..You can use the Wx500 configurator to add it as a separate window (i.e. not built in to the panel) and it's just as useful..(bearing in mind that it's not very accurate - like all wx programs for FSX) JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
July 9, 201213 yr Most new Carenado planes come with a program to install automatically. The GNS430 and 530 yes, but I'm not aware of any that integrate the Wx500. Scott
July 9, 201213 yr This is true, Scott.. Not many planes come with a wx500. If you manually add it to a Carenado plane with one already in it the original model shows through and it does not operate. I did email Carenado regarding this, and he said to integrate it using FSPS and not have the original 3d buttons would involve "re-coding the A/C" Not sure about putting it in an Airbus..where would it go? EFB screen? JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
