I don't think anyone will say anything if now and then someone asks an off topic question about something and it slips through.

The fact is that PMDG forums always had a certain number of quite knowledgable people discussing really serious stuff.

 

That has mellowed through time, and the reason was IMO that those people left when they started reading hundreds of off topic stuff.

 

Cleaning up a bit is nothing bad, right now is a good time as any to step on the brake a bit harder.

 

Relax... it's not an inquisition, it's just a little maintenance.

Not really. Building a PC for whatever reason is a hardware topic. Please abide by the request to remain on topic - PMDG.

We have tried moving posts, in hope that people would get the message.

 

Unfortunately, as this didn't work quite as expected, we are going to be deleting off-topic posts without warning from this point on.

 

I would like to ask you to post in appropriate forums, otherwise you'll be wasting time posting them here.

 

This of course goes for any under-forum of PMDG.

It seems to me if you are going to put a warning in red and large letters, you should take a look at the PMDG general section and delete ALL non related topics. I'm not trying to be troublesome, but what does Prepar3d developing a weahrter radar have to do with pmdg?? Just asking

If you want to be of help, just press the report button to get our attention. That is very much appreciated as it makes our jobs easier.

We also have normal lives and real life obligations, and don't scour the forums daily/hourly for off topic posts. But when we see some, we delete them.

I like you put a 'Warning' and in red for all to see; shame no one will read it :(
