I like their notion of 'affordable'. I must look down the back of the sofa and see if I can find the odd $5-6K. Not to mention a super-computer to run it all on.

Nice stuiff though.

Yes, it does look good. But at the end of the day, you're still looking at that little computer screen in your spare room.

The last few seconds of the video really brought that home!

The thing is... the view out the window is as important as the view inside...

You're still flying a desk in this one, its just a desk made to look like the Captains seat of a 737 - Gotta say if I do eventually go for the full sim its gotta be a full cockpit in my garage with a full wrap around projected display!!!!

Perhaps a little more then 6k though.....

You can actually have two to three monitors with that setup.

It would actually take a good computer (but doesn't our FSX already demands a strong computer?). You might need a second computer (not as strong) to run the avionics equipment (recommended)

In short, you are looking at several thousand dollars but your experience will be significantly enhanced.

I am planning to build one (with the actually nose modular and projectors) but this will be a long term process.

Thanks for the link.

I have been in communication with the CEO of the company and he is a great guy.

He will be helping me thru the process and promised me that his support team will guide me thru during the installation. I am not going to get the full blown cockpit yet.

The goal here is to get off the desk!
