one more sdk initializing error

Featured Replies

Hi,

i was getting this error every time I clicked on pwr but it went away after 30 secs or so and everything and looked fine. i did not use fs2crew after i got the error. The only time I used it my fsx crashed with a pmdg_737ngx.dll bang. Are they related ?

I tried a fix I saw on here (removing the options.ini and let have it rebuid and adding the sdk broacast something line).

No joy.I still get the error even if it goes away after 30-40 secs.

Help ?

thanks

Vic

that's a coincident. I had the same problem today. When I pushed power on, a female voice said: warning, could not initialize the SDK, please contact etc ...

After a computer reboot, everything was ok again. Never had the problem before.

I have to say that during the flight before, Fsx stopped working. I'm testing EFB for the moment and had a few crashes since, but still no clue what could be the reason.

Any suggestions

in what direction I should search?

Hi Joe,

PMDG used Simconnect for the SDK.

Simconnect can be a bit finicky.

If it only happened once, I wouldn't worry about it.

But for additional discussion on how to deal with SDK issues, please do a forum search using the term "SDK".

There's a lot of good info.

Cheers,
