July 23, 201213 yr I live in the Tropics so I see colorful scenery every day. I mean really colorful, sometimes outrageously so. That's why I found Hawai'i somewhat bland, or perhaps the word is "drab". To my mind, trees and buildings should have been extremely colorful. I certainly did not expect Alaska to be full of color, although on second thought there probably is a lot of that. So, I was a little surprised to land at McGrath and see this: Well, that's a pleasant change. Red houses, colored roofs. Sure hope there's more of that. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
July 23, 201213 yr McGrath looks like a showcase airport for Flight's Alaska. There's even a sign on one of the buildings that says "McGrath Air Terminal." Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
July 23, 201213 yr Yeah, I noticed that as well. This is obviously one of the airports that got some personal attention rather than just being stamped out with the cookie cutters. It's pretty decent looking.
July 23, 201213 yr I have said for a while that whoever is in charge of the art assets needs to look at some real human dwelling areas. I have no idea why "serious" flight simulators seem so enamored with subdued/drab colors, especially grey. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
