Black ground textures.

Featured Replies

hi all. i have a very annoying problem with my FTX orbx.

i am using win7 64 bit.

4gb ddr2 1066

ati 4850

e8500

i install normal FSX after then sp1 and finally sp2

after then REX Essansiel

everything works perfect. no problem. like this SS

then i decied to use my FTX ORBX AU GOLD. and i install it 1.0 version. and it works pretty good.

then i wanted to add FTX ORBX AU GOLD Service Pack (2-4 i tried both of them and result is same.)

in this SS i change preview mode to DX10 and have this. but in DX9 mod i have totaly black ground textures. ( CLOUDS AND TRİKE PROPPELLER ARE NORMAL BUT MY IMG RESIZER MAKE THEM BLACK. JUST LOOK THE GROUND TEXTURE CHANGES.)

i made a FULL FSX folder backup . and just replaced it with new corrupted one. but result same. still having black textures. with totaly messed up F12 view.

then i bored of this sh*t and uninstall all FSX. including Appdata local roaming folders reg entry. totally clean.

then installed FSX sp1-2 and again patching with REXE. and it is totaly good. no problem with textures.

then i decied to install FTX ORBX AU GOLD and again it works normally. i DONT install service packs of FTX and only installed YCNK airport and have this.

i am really nervous right now. i just tried everything i think. intalling adminstration mode . trying in vista or xp sp3 mode. chancing DX mode.

what should i do?

That seems a video driver issue. Have you tried reinstalling it? When you encounter this issue in FTX regions, what happens if you move, say, to Europe? Do you have black boxes again?

FTX is quite demanding, and if your video card isn't fast enough, or your sliders are way too the right, you might have these sort of issues.

Anyway, head over to the FTX forums, they surely can help you better than me :)

Cheers

Have you re-built shader cache?

I saw black areas in scenery followed by a message saying something like " you have run out of available memory". Research into this problem resulted in being told to reduce FSX scenery levers. Mine are were set to max. I think it has something to do with running out of virtual memory. FSX was written as a 32 bit program, so even with our 64 bit CPUs we still can have this problem.

i have no error. and i can fly like 20-30 min without single crash or freeze. my fps is like 70-80 in locked spot and 30-40 in VC

Nothing to do with driver error or anything. It's orbx fault and they ignored me months ago with this problem. It's a regional settings problem, unless I change it to "English United States" before using ftx central, my whole fsx installation gets corrupted. Other than reinstalling I couldn't find a way to fix it.

Kadir, bölge ayarların Türkçe ise Ftx central ı kullanmadan önce English yapmak zorundasın. FTX ORBX AU GOLD central kullanmadığı için problem olmamış.
