June 12, 200421 yr I am looking into getting a GA twin prop, and I've noticed a lot of people writing good things about the new Aeroworx King Air. How does this plane compare to for example the Flight1 Conquest II? I have heard good things about their Meridian and figured that their Conquest might be as good built as their Meridian.Thoughts on this would be very welcome.-Mikkel
June 13, 200421 yr I can vouch for the fact that the Conquest is as well built as the Meridian and is just great to fly!The panel is very high resolution and shows great at both 1280x960 and 1600x1200 screen settings. You will recognise the Flight1 quality in the airplane, the documentation, and the add-on repaints. June 13, 200421 yr The Meridian is a great plane.(single engine though) The new King Air is also fantastic! The systems modeled are incredible. You won't go wrong with either one.
June 13, 200421 yr My GA recommendations:- FSD Piper Navajo (flown countless hours and still enjoy it)- Aeroworx King Air 200 (it's more like a small commuter ;]) Regards, Radek
June 13, 200421 yr Some of the finest twins available for FS9 are freeware... the Aero Commanders. By Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, and Andre Folkers. They're all here in the Avsim library.Greg
June 13, 200421 yr Merdian gives you 100% authentic GNS530 and full panel integration (so for example you can properly fly GPS approaches) which I think is very unique - no other products does it. Conquest II is all analog gauges so it is a very different experience in flying - kind of old fashioned.Michael J.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-higher.jpg Michael J.
June 13, 200421 yr Thanks for the response, but I'm not really looking for the Meridian, but a twin prop. I was just trying to get an indication of how good the build quality of the different packages were, so I was comparing it to the meridian which I know is very good.
