August 5, 201213 yr Commercial Member Great, Boeing 717 is certainly interesting aircraft, based on old DC-9/MD-80 style design but with modern Boeing cockpit and other stuff inside it.

It does have a modern Avionics Suite. But its not Boeing, its more on the lines of a MD-11 since McDonnell Douglas was the original developer.
