FSX not remembering weather settings!

Featured Replies

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could assist me with the following issue. The issue I am having is that FSX for some reason is not setting my customized weather settings. I click the individual weather station and set my desired settings, however when I move to the weather station (airport) and set a weather for it, the settings for the first station return to the default settings. The issue occurs if I use the weather themes in FSX or the Real-World weather feature in FSX.

Honestly, I don't know what else to do... I have deleted the FSX.cfg file to see if it help and the issue still remains...

Any ideas?

System Specs in the signature.

Many thanks for any help on this matter!

Hi,

FSX doesn't support different weather themes at different geographic locations by default. Real weather will change depending on actual conditions. If you are creating a mission in which you'd like to have different weather in different areas, FSX Mission Editor supports this. Check here:http://forums.fsaddon.eu/viewforum.php?f=22

At least this is my understanding. I think you'll be able to get a more authoritative answer to your question at: http://www.flightsimulatorxmissions.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=12

Hello!

Thanks for the answer. I am trying to set different weather settings for some geographical areas by first downloading the real-world weather and then going into the user-defined weather option in FSX and try to set the individual weather stations. In FS2004, this approach worked without a problem, however in FSX does not seem to work and the settings get deleted as soon as I go and set the next station.

Again, thanks for your assistance!

EDIT:

Just noticed that I've posted this thread in the wrong forum. I meant to put this in the general FSX foums.
