Joystick trim wheel control

Featured Replies

On one of my PMDG 737NGX planes I have two buttons on my joystick mapped to operate the trim wheel but for the life of me I can't remember how I mapped them.

I have checked that they are not mapped through FSX (it only works on one 737NGX anyway), nor are they mapped through FSUIPC and I can't see an option via the FMC, can anyone offer a solution?

TIA

Dave

I have my trim wheel mapped by two buttons on my joystick and they are mapped through fsx settings...

its thru your fsx settings under controls just check thru all your key assignments, since i got my two buttons assigned as well thru fsx settings

I confirm! Same buttons on the NGX and all other fsx planes, they are FSX assigned.

Check that TRIM cut out switches are not to OFF, also check that there is electrical power to the aircraft, if you try to move with buttons when in cold and dark, the trim will not move.

You may use mouse wheel on the trim wheel instead.

Thanks for the replies guys although they didn't help.

I have mapped the buttons through FSUIPC as I don't want them operating on all aircraft which would happen if I mapped them through FSX interface.
