Isn't it funny that of all the places to explore with all these new roads in the entire USA, we always have to check out the location of our home first? Dorthy was right... "there's no place like home". ;)

I think the best part of this addon is the way in which it increases the perception of size. Everything just feels much larger now that you look at all the roads down below. I'll probably won't be flying outside of the US for some time. :7

Is it (or will it) be available on CD? There is no way in the world I could download something of that size on a 26.4kbps dialup connection.Regards,ScottKJMS

According to an e-mail I received from Jeff on Fri. eve, Flight 1 expects to have the CD available by mid July. Expected price will be $34.95. The price was posted on their web site.

It's a big file for sure but they provide a download manager that can get it perfectly. It supports pause/resume and veryfies the file before resuming the download. It can even repair the bad section if it finds part of the download corrupted without having to go back and start over. I just downloaded it on dialup 20+ hours with numerous stops and starts and got it without a hitch.Have to say I'm really impressed with it. It has roads that not many people realize are roadways. Got a gravel drive down from our house that the people who live off think is a private drive but is really a county road. It's there!! Little lane I pull down to cut firewood way out in the boonies. It's there too! Amazing. Just flew over 200 miles to the town some of my relatives live in and followed the roads that I usually take when driving the car.
