I run an all cargo outfit and we are dying for some true cargo planes. Oddly, the FS world seems to place far more emphasis on the passenger-toting side of things but in fact cargo is a much bigger business in the aviation world. PMDG to their credit, has addressed this with the 747-400F (and this will be a no-brainer for me when it's released) but a lot of outfits are using the 777 as well. Anyway, I thought I'd make the pitch, and again my apologies if this has already been asked. I did look -_- .

August 25, 201213 yr 1st expansion pack The 1st expansion is going to be the -300ER. Initial release will be the 777-200LR. This airplane was chosen because we have access to it, because it is currently in production and because it has so much in common with the 300ER, which will be the first expansion for the 777 product series. I was wondering about the freight version too. Don't remember reading anything about it in the forums. Matheus Mafra

August 25, 201213 yr 1st expansion pack sour grapes here but... I recall an estimate for the -ER/BBJ for the NGX and that has gone dissappointingly silent. Just sayin' don't believe these roadmaps as things can (and do) change. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

August 26, 201213 yr Are you saying they are planning a cargo variant for the 2nd expansion pack? Man, that would be outstanding! If not, so be it, but I think it would get a lot of play. Thanks Andy and Luke :smile: @Jeff - I understand your frustration, and yes things do change. They have to as new variables come into play (just like flying a long route - sometimes the best laid plans get waylaid by Cb's -_- ). All we can do is respectfully ask, and all they can do is give their best answer with the current knowledge, and then hope that the cards fall in everyone's favour I guess. Maybe it'll end up being the 3rd or 4th expansion pack, but fair enough. At least they've thought about it, and that's all you can ask :smile:
