Saitek Rudder Pedals

Featured Replies

Hi All,

No matter how I've changed settings in controls so far the "brake" message is continually on and the brakes are continually on. I've tried everything I know and used the settings I've used in FSX in the past but can't seem to get the brakes to release.

Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I'm overlooking something.

Thanks in advance.

Simple solution first: You've checked that the axis is reversed?

Now on to what I bet it actually is: The CH Pedals, after a few years of use, may lose accuracy in the pedal's axis thanks to the potentiometers getting dirty. If you could, check the position of the axis when you are "feet off" through Window's properties.

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers\CH PRO PEDALS USB

Right click CH PRO PEDALS USB > Game controller settings. Now select the pedals and then click Properties. Your axis (the cross in the box) should be at the very top left corner of the box when feet off. If not, you've got some issues we can potentially help you resolve... If you like opening things up.

This won't help much, but I have Saitek Rudder Pedals working well in P3D.

Things to check though are assignments, reversed axis, you didn't say where are you having your assignments, over P3D or FSUIPC? I am running over FSUIPC, so that might be a difference...

Problem solved. Thanks for the responses. It seems that I checked "reverse axis" but upon returning to the settings they were unchecked. Unplugged the USB connection for the pedals and plugged them back in and now the checks in reverse axis are staying there.

Who knows how or why.

Uhuh, I know why!

It's because you are doing your assignments via FSX ^_^

I have similar issues..all works very well in fsx but when I goto Prepar3d v2.2 ...its all messed up...Differential brakes dont seem to ever go away and plane keeps going to left..have recalibrated thousand times and checked all axis :(

I do everything via the built-in interface. I always have.

Odd that I have never, not once... not ever had issues with that.

Oh... this isn't FSX. Just sayin'...

Maybe he does not like re assigning his hardware controls for every aircraft he loads.

For some of us the built in interface is not enough.
