August 29, 201213 yr Author The bombs from World War 2, would. that mean its less stable? Being so old. Well it's a bomb I guess they're never exactly stable are they.... Correct, not sure if that makes it more volotile or not, but there was no malice behind it, so that's a start.... Veuling saying it was a miscomunication, BBC saying it's a hostage situation. F16 intercept anyways, that's for sure.... Headaches for anyone operating into or out of AMS today anyways, that's for sure... Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
August 29, 201213 yr I find it hard to believe it was a miscommunication. If it isnt and they were hijacked, I don't see the point in Vueling saying its not their aircraft. Unless they didn't know it had been hijacked but I think they'd be notified when ATC/the military found out. But we don't know the facts yet so can't really say. Lee Sent using Tapatalk

Lee Sent using Tapatalk WWII bombs being uncovered during construction is a semi-regular occurrence here (say 5-10 or so times a year). They are removed by the bomb disposal squad and blown up at a remote location. I've never heard of one going off unintentionally. I find it hard to believe it was a miscommunication.
