September 1, 201213 yr I fly the pmdg 737 a lot but when i am at my cruising altittude (11,000 ft) whil making a flight from brussels to eindhoven i get an error in the cdu scratchpad saying V Speeds unavaildable. While i am cruising at 11,000ft. Please help me!
September 1, 201213 yr I think that your altitude is much lower than the cruise altitude of your route, and probably the FMC cannot reach the same speed you will have at an higher flight level. Regards Andrea Daviero
September 1, 201213 yr Hello Luukguus, Just some points. You will need to remember to sign your name in the Posts. This is just a wild guess but are there Vspeeds visible when you are taking off and are you clicking the activation button after loading the Init page. Just a thought. Richard Welsh. Richard Welsh
September 1, 201213 yr FCOM says there are two possibilities of getting this message. 1. You didn't filled in RTE, PERF INIT, TAKE OFF REF pages. 2. You are going to take off with light weight, high rated thrust and large flap setting. But if you get this message inflight, then this two options seems to be irrelevant. September 1, 201213 yr V speeds are normally for take off and referenced for landing based on gross weight. If your v speeds are not valid you should be getting this message during preflight. Getting them during cruise is abnormal afaik. I would check the qrm. On the ground, a common mistake is not executing the perf page before moving on to thrust settings and finally v speeds.
