September 2, 201213 yr Hi, I would really love to try navigating an old school plane, like the CS 727 for FSX. But before I buy It I would like to now one thing which I haven't been able to find ther answer to: if I navigate using the INS, I would have to enter the coordinates of each individual waypoint, I know, and that's fine with me. But how do I find the coordinates of the waypoints? Is there a third party utility out there that can help me? Thanks, Wiebe Wybe Witteveen VATSIM S3 Controller | Dutch VACC
September 2, 201213 yr Yes. And it's free. - To convert a normal FS9/FSX flight plan to one which the Civa ADEU reader can read, you need this tool PlanConverter http://darkc.no-ip.o...c/planconverter That's from this thread over in the CS forums. What the tool does is reading FSX plans and converting them to so called ADEU cards, which can then be read by the Civa INS. I had a few screenshots and thoughts posted here. Maybe it helps. http://www.captainsi...5100008/154#154

September 5, 201213 yr - To convert a normal FS9/FSX flight plan to one which the Civa ADEU reader can read, you need this tool PlanConverter http://darkc.no-ip.o...c/planconverter Hi CoolP and Wiebe! There is but one problem with this: my server is currently offline due to me moving to another city! This means that unfortunately the site will be unavailable until some time in the beginning of October. Fortunately, after searching my computer thoroughly I found a copy of the program and have uploaded it here at Avsim, so hopefully it should be available some time soon. I'm glad (and a bit surprised!) to hear my program is still recommended (and used?) even though I stopped developing it over two years ago! Best regards, Klas Member of AVSIM's Around the World Race Team
September 5, 201213 yr While it is not automated, you can also use AirNav.com. Take a look here: http://www.airnav.com/airspace/fix/ Joe Brown
September 6, 201213 yr The program has been uploaded to the file library and is available here: http://library.avsim...8&CatID=fsxutil In case anyone have downloaded my program before, and is wondering if anything is new, nothing is. This is the exact same version of the program that I've had on my website for about two years. Klas Member of AVSIM's Around the World Race Team
