How do I get from Taskbar to Screen?

After clicking on "Fly Now", FSX will occasionally open the Flight in the Taskbar and I am unable to maximise the screen.

Is there a key selection that will do this without having to restart FSX ??

CTRL+ALT+DEL load task manager,

 

Right click FSX and click maximise.

If you cannot get rid of the menu bar although you are in full screen (it happens to me every time I use FSX), right click anywhere on the screen and select twice "Hide menu bar", why twice? Don't ask me, that's what works for me and I have yet to find a better way.

Have you tried holding down the Alt key for a few seconds?

CTRL+ENTER is the default for full-screen mode.

 

Some system info may be useful, if you have not already resolved this issue.

 

Running as administrator? Set to start as full screen and not minimised or windowed?

George, to avoid misleading you, can you please clarify whether you start your flight in Full Screen or Window mode normally, and if what you get is the "Window" with full frame or just the menu bar in full screen mode?

I usually open in "Windowed" screen but when the problem occurs I just get the taskbar entry.

I`ll try ther above ideas when next it happens

And I chose FSX from the list on the program tab in the task manager and then "switch to" - that works also.
