September 17, 201213 yr I'm actual thinking about buying the Ifly for FS2004. I've done a test (purchase+return) while the SP2.1 was actual and no Feature Pack was released. During that time I had some problems with frames, sometimes going down in 2D Panel to 17-22fps while locked at 45fps. So this was annoying as I was never save of loosing many frames when flying trough clouds etc. Or when departing having a lacking departure with 18fps. So now after the feature pack and I found back to B737 I was thinking about buying again, maybe when on sale etc. But did something changed concerning the frames? Did the SP3/Feature Pack help? I can't find any information concerning that, I only read the A/C had improvements in technic,FMC.... Does someone have some information? My computer: Win7 x64 AMD 4100 QuadCore Processor with 3,6Ghz 8GB RAM Nvidia GTS450 FS2004 Thanks! Greetings Eddi
September 17, 201213 yr I suggest you search the iFly forums for an answer. I don't think you can post there until you have made a purchase but at least you can have a look to see if there is anything there to help you. David
September 17, 201213 yr There has been no change with regard to framerates on the relatively few systems that have had problems with the iFly. Feature Pack work was oriented toward bug fixes, and new features... DJ
September 18, 201213 yr Quite a few of the frame rate issues were due to installation issues. Try a reinstall making sure you visit the iFly support forum and install as per the pinned notice. There is a new update due out soon that really raises the bar and addresses a few of the issues/bugs. On your rig you should have no problems with frame rates. Cheers Steve Hall
