September 19, 201213 yr Commercial Member Well, a picture is worth a thousand words. I suddenly appear to have square coastlines for the Hawaiian islands (and only the Hawaiian islands so far that I can see). Does anyone know which bgls define coastlines for Hawaii? I run FSDT Hawaiian Airports and PHNL, no special terrain meshes. I've tried rebuilding my fs9.cfg and checked to make sure my wave texture and effects files are in tact. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. http://imageshack.us...44/image4pf.jpg Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM

September 19, 201213 yr Author Commercial Member You have a problem with landclass layer, check the hierarchy in your custom library. It depends of what addon you use Please elaborate. My default scenery and default terrain entries are on the bottom of the hierarchy and I listed the Hawaii addons I use above. Additionally, using a known working scenery.cfg from a backed-up FS2004 copy does not resolve the issue. September 19, 201213 yr Look in ...\FS9\Scenery\OCEN\scenery for the following files... HL905240.bgl HL906240.bgl HL906250.bgl HP905240.bgl HP906240.bgl HP906250.bgl regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
September 19, 201213 yr Try to uncheck all add-on scenery on your custom library and see if something change, if not try to reinstall all those file mention from N60JBravo from the FS9 CD you don't need to reinstall from scratch just open the zipped file and search for those file. Do you have Ultimate Terrain or any other stuff maybe Fs Genesis Landclass. It's better if you clone your HD in an image disk,so you can restore or partially replace file just in case. hope this help

Unchecking all possible scenery entries has no effect. Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM
September 20, 201213 yr If the default files are there and you still have square coastlines then you have some files somewhere that are excluding them. What you are seeing is common when a scenery addon is deleted instead of uninstalled. I don't have the FSDT addons so I don't know if they modify coastlines. Look through ...\OCEN\scenery and your other addon folders for files with things like "exclude" in the file name or elements of the previously mentioned file names. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
