September 23, 201213 yr I get steady 30fps stutter free flying but recently my jotsticks hat switch (8-way) view panning started stuttering oddly in a way that it looked like going below 5fps (but the sims rate is still 30fps). Help please! I don't want to hold my spacebar forever to look around.... (Ps, this started after tinkering my ENB settings)
September 23, 201213 yr Hi have you tried removing ENB and seeing if it still happens?? do you use EZdok?? this has caused a stuttering and i had to adjust Pan speed steve-0 REX SKYFORCE 3D steve howlett
September 23, 201213 yr Author 1. I deleted ENB but no change, I used the 24 ENB (Found it on rex support forums) 2.No ezdok used
September 23, 201213 yr Hi Is it a usb joystick.if it is you could try unplugging it ,then plugging it back in a different port.it might be a conflict with something else you plugged in. steve-0 REX SKYFORCE 3D steve howlett
September 23, 201213 yr Did you go to FSX settings for Controllers and check the calibration and make sure the joystick is operating correctly? If it is operating correctly then you have another program that is trying to control your joystick. Do you have FSUIPC installed? September 24, 201213 yr Check that you don't have joystick assignments in FSX that mirror the ones in fsuipc, it's possible that something you did caused the default assignments to be reset (assuming you mostly assign through fsuipc). Doubled up assignments like that will definitely cause stuttering.
September 25, 201213 yr Author No change. Shift+O puts the mouce to POV switch so thats my temporary fix!
September 25, 201213 yr I had this problem a while ago too and it came down to the "repeat rate" set for your view pan. What you need to do is open up the Controls Settings and look for "View (Pan)" and make sure the repeat rate is set full right. This sorted it out for me.
