September 26, 201213 yr Hi, all!!! I installed Steve's latest dx10 fix package but when i run my fsx in dx10 preview (gtx680 here) the fsx splashscreen loading takes place and it shuts down back to desktop after a minute or so. Does someone know what the cause might be? I tried rebuilding my fsx.cfg, but that didn't solve anything. Many thanks in advance. Best Regards Victor
September 26, 201213 yr No idea what the cause might be, but have you already tried deleting fsx.cfg? Caio Belmock Mascarenhas de Campos

September 26, 201213 yr Hi Victor: Did you try the DX10 Preview before you installed the Patch? Steve has asked that this be done, so that you can verify that the default DX10 works. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
September 26, 201213 yr just an info, i had the exact same problem and it was due to the fact that i had installed the FXAA shader mod (ENB alternative), and this 'mod' places a dxgi.dll file in the main fsx folder which makes FSX crash on splashcreen when loading if you use DX10 preview mode. well maybe it has nothing to do with your problem, but if you have used that mod (or a smiliar one adding dll files in main fsx folder) it might save you a few hours of debugging (what i had to do hehe)

I don't know how big the "thank you" should be here.. I'll end up beeing blamed for spamming! I was experimenting with FXAA long time ago so obviously I did't clean all it's files in the dir afterwards. Again - THANK YOU!! Paul, thank you too for trying to help! I guess we have a new known issue then. FXAA's dxgi.dll and DX10 can't stand each other
September 26, 201213 yr first of all excuse my English, I'm using google translator. to use the enb for DX10 will need the latest version of dx10 and the problem is solved.
