Tool Tips Don't Show

Featured Replies

I usually have cockpit tool tips turned on so I can use it to properly set takeoff pitch and the HSI target degrees on ConcordeX. I notice with DX10 enabled that tool tips are now gone. Anyone have this issue and is there a resolution to it?

QUICKTIPS=0 -> to 1

People usually don't recommend using it with Nvidia. Not sure why.

Hi all.

Cockpit Tool Tips (setting/display/aircraft) will not show in DX10 no matter if the box is checked or not. This is very helpful in aircraft like the RealAir planes when setting the heading bug.

Any ideas how to get this to work again?

The tooltips appear in windowed mode, so one work around is to set the flight up by alt tabbing to windows, maximise and then alt tab back to full screen. Then when you need a tool tip alt tab enables. And disable by switching between full screen and winowed

Thanks... but... that sucks balls (not your fault, and thank you for your very hard work steve). It's totally useless in something like the T-Duke, and setting the heading bug when getting vectors to final.

DX10 was looking promising, but so many little things like this, it's looking grim. Ahh well... I gave it a shot.

Ok.. a work around I came up with: I set up a new camera in EZDok with a close up of the HSI/VOR 1 without any effects and zooming disabled... This way you can read it and change the heading bug with the mouse wheel. I use the number keys (top row 1-0) to switch between cameras.

Kind of like a poor mans pop up...LOL
