October 4, 201213 yr What case wood you preferre Can you give me some benchmarks of this setup Thought you didn't need case? Wooden one's are especially hard to find. Oak is nice though. I like to get the quietest case I can find at the time it was an Antec P180, not sure what the quietest is now a days. Benchmarks? Like what? This above setup overclocked to ~4.5 or greater should perform plenty fine with a bunch of addons at very high setting. Keep in mind, nothing can run FSX smoothly if its truly maxed out with a few addons.
October 4, 201213 yr how would a gtx 660 do The GTX660 = GTX580 in performance. I would recommend it if you can afford it.
October 4, 201213 yr Radeons, while fine gaming cards, are not recommended for FSX due to the way they handle rendering of clouds which causes inferior performance to Nvidia cards.
