Thought you didn't need case? Wooden one's are especially hard to find. Oak is nice though. ;) I like to get the quietest case I can find at the time it was an Antec P180, not sure what the quietest is now a days.

 

Benchmarks? Like what? This above setup overclocked to ~4.5 or greater should perform plenty fine with a bunch of addons at very high setting. Keep in mind, nothing can run FSX smoothly if its truly maxed out with a few addons.

The GTX660 = GTX580 in performance. I would recommend it if you can afford it.

well what about a radeon 7950

Radeons, while fine gaming cards, are not recommended for FSX due to the way they handle rendering of clouds which causes inferior performance to Nvidia cards.
